Stephen Cummins is a compliance professional with over 25 years’ experience working within legal and compliance environments. He spent over 8 years working at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission as an investigator and manager on the Enforcement Division and latterly as Deputy Director on the Authorisations and Innovation Division. Upon leaving the Commission he co-founded ThreeSixty with Mark and has since been assisting regulated and unregulated businesses on a wide range of compliance issues.

As a senior manager at the Commission he was involved in assessing firms’ compliance with the regulatory framework, authorising new applications and was a member on numerous project boards and Commission advisory panels evaluating enforcement cases, onsite visits and applications.

Stephen has a wealth of expertise and practical knowledge in corporate governance, financial crime, risk management and regulation across the industry sectors. Through his specialist knowledge he can assist firms in identifying areas for improvement, whilst implementing risk-based solutions which are aligned to commercial requirements.

Stephen has a BA (Hons) degree, an international diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance and is a fellow of the International Compliance Association.
