Stephen Cummins is a compliance professional with nearly 30 years’ experience working within legal and compliance environments including almost two decades in law enforcement and more than eight years at the GFSC, where he held senior roles in the Enforcement and Authorisations & Innovation divisions. Upon leaving the Commission he co-founded ThreeSixty with Mark and has since been assisting regulated and unregulated businesses on a wide range of compliance issues.

As a senior manager at the Commission he was involved in regulatory investigations, assessing firms’ compliance with the regulatory framework, authorising new applications and was a member on numerous project boards and Commission advisory panels evaluating enforcement cases, onsite visits and applications.

Stephen has a wealth of expertise and practical knowledge in corporate governance, financial crime, risk management and regulation across the industry sectors. Through his specialist knowledge he can assist firms in identifying areas for improvement, whilst implementing risk-based solutions which are aligned to commercial requirements.

Stephen has a BA (Hons) degree, an international diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance and is a fellow of the International Compliance Association.
